Manju is firm, competent, energetically spacious and compassionate

I’m always excited and confident when I refer people to Manju. My personal experience is she helped me gently move out of some lifelong habits that weren't serving my mind, spirit and body. To my surprise, the work we have done has facilitated deeper psychological progress, even though the prescriptions have been strictly nutritional and lifestyle based. This is something I have come to deeply appreciate about Ayurvedic care, that it approaches ailments at their root causes, as opposed to palliatively treating the symptoms. Before I worked with Manju, I was resistant to what I perceived as the many “trappings” and complicated nature of Ayurvedic care. My experience with Manju is the opposite! My overall approach to self care/nutrition has become simplified and the new Ayurvedic based routines a welcome (but flexible) anchor in my life (I travel a lot!). I struggle with general anxiety, and the various somatic manifestations of that anxiety (hives/skin issues, IBS, tension, weight fluctuation, restrictive eating, snacking, over-exercising, depression, brain fog/mental clarity). Working with Manju has given me the tools to sooth myself through nutritional and lifestyle practices. I observe that the things I have learned from her continue to unfold and teach me … in that sense, I can’t think of a better value when it comes to seeking outside support. I will also say that my first 1.5 hr intake session with Manju was the most compassionate and healing time I have spent with a person in the wellness field (including western doctors and therapists of various modalities). Manju is firm, competent, energetically spacious and compassionate —and it is the unique ability to steward, in addition to her breadth of practical knowledge which makes her so well suited for what she does.
